Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park

The Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park lies in the heart of Zululand and is rich in history. The park covers 96 000 ha and comprises the Hluhluwe and iMfolozi Game Reserves. Established in 1989, the Corridor Game Reserve links the two older parks. Hilltop is the oldest tourist resort in KwaZulu-Natal and provides a wide range of accommodation. The resort is run by Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife.

On a recent weekend trip to Gooderson Bushlands and Gooderson DumaZulu I was fortunate to be able to go on a game drive through part of the Hluhluwe Game Reserve and make a stop at the Hilltop Resort.
