    I was blessed with another stay in a Timeshare Cha I was blessed with another stay in a Timeshare Chalet at Champagne Sports Resort at the beginning of April. It is a home away from home experience with the added incredible views and a daily service of the chalet. They also have fun activities to attend like 'Guess That Tune' and a Quiz.     The main attraction in staying in the Central Drak The main attraction in staying in the Central Drakensberg and the Champagne Valley are the spectacular views of the mountains. Other notable attractions to visit are : The Valley Bakery : delicious breakfast, lunch and incredible baked sweet and savoury treats. Make sure to buy their bread if you are staying self-catering Scrumpy Jacks : I haven't eaten at their restaurant but I have had their divine Honey Cheesecake. Wow! They also have a lovely shop filled with gifting and other products. Sandra Se Winkel : A look into the past with original trading store items. There is an entry cost into the trading store Negosie Museum and some of the items are available to buy. There is also another building with fascinating items to buy like crockery etc. Berg Air Lifestyle Centre : Hillbillies : A good place to shop if you are staying self-catering. They have meat, vegetables, dairy and bottled goods. Macedonia Cheese Shop : Delicious cheese and bottled goods that pair well with cheese. They also serve snacks, lunch, coffee and smoothies. There is a seating area. Chocolate Memories : Free chocolate tasting. They also serve coffee and sweet treats. The chocolate volcano is delicious! They also roast their own coffee. Other places in the centre are The Ugly Duckling, Farm Friends Farm Stall, Drakensberg Brewery, Champagne Bistro and the El Mirador airstrip. Falcon Ridge Bird of Prey Centre : Raptors are rehabilitated from injury and there are daily shows with an informative talk and raptor display. Monks Cowl to Sterkspruit Falls : Starting at the Monks Cowl entrance follow the well marked path down to the falls. It is about a 3km return walk and can take 1 to 2 hours. There is an entrance fee for the Monks Cowl Reserve. Who? : @thehall_cafe Where? : 2 Falls Drive, Howick Opening Days and Times : Tuesday to Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm Saturday and Sunday 8am - 2pm Food : Breakfast such as Eggs Bennie and Avo Toast. Lunch such as sourdough toasties with various fillings Sweet : Scones, carrot cake and chocolate cake Drinks : Hot drinks such as cappuccinos and white hot chocolate. They also have signature hot drinks such as Karoo Latte. Parking : In front of the agricultural hall which is now the Angels Care Centre. There is also some parking on Falls Drive. The Hall Cafe is a partner with the Angel's Care Centre Organization.
