Nescafé Dolce Gusto Pop Up Store

There is nothing like the smell of freshly brewed coffee – freshly brewed proper coffee! If you have been following me for awhile here on the website or on my social media you would have seen that I am a coffee purist. You will find NO instant coffee in my house but you will find lots of coffee beans, a coffee grinder and various coffee makers. All proper coffee lovers started out their coffee journey with various types of coffee and coffee making equipment. I started my coffee journey with a French Press and flavoured pre-ground coffee.

I always encourage people to stretch their boundaries when it comes to coffee, to move away from the instant coffee and to try out brewing proper coffee at home. A French Press and pre-ground beans and you are ready to brew. Your senses will thank me and it certainly gives a better boost for your morning. Many people are hesitant to start because of the time limit and they want their coffee immediately and don’t want to wait for coffee to brew. This is where capsule machines step in – easy to use and coffee made quickly. They are certainly far, far better than opening up that horried jar or tin of instant.

Good affordable capsule machines are the Dolce Gusto machines made by Nescafé and their capsules can be bought from all the major supermarket chains. I don’t speak about Dolce Gusto on my social media since I don’t use one for my home brewing, but I do use the one at the office. They have the Dolce Gusto Genio Black which is such a time saver when coffee needs to be made for meetings or when you need a quick pick me up. Put in the capsule, set the required bars and then press start. The machines don’t just make coffee, there are also various other drinks like Chococino, Marrakesh style tea and even Nesquik.

Nestlé, through its famous coffee brand NESCAFÉ® DOLCE GUSTO®, launched Kwa-Zulu Natal’s first ever Pop Up store experience at Gateway Theatre of Shopping. This will offer coffee lovers a unique experience when it comes to coffee types and flavours and the machines that brew them. The pop up store will be there until 3rd June 2019. A great opportunity to buy yourself a capsule machine at special prices or even to stock up on capsules if you have a machine already. I saw capsules at the pop up store that I had never seen at my local shop before.
